Happy New Year from all of us at Mountain Wanderer!

Its been a busy first few months and we’re so excited to be here. Of course its a tremendous honor to take up the mantle at Mountain Wanderer and nobody could ever fill Steve’s shoes, but we’re thrilled to get to meet and talk with all of you - so many amazing folks who have been through the shop since we took over on Sept/1st. Certainly, we have felt a warm welcome from the hiking community and from the local community here around town as well and we are very grateful for all the kind words and great chats we’ve had.

We are also very excited about the release of the new Mountain Wanderer beer from Feathered Friend Brewing out of Concord NH. It is a delicious and crisp, Czech Pilsner and will be available starting this month for a limited time. Visit their brewery for a fresh one on draft or cans to go. Their owner and us are old friends and we’re elated to have their support to help promote the shop. Plus a portion of proceeds from each beer will be donated to Search and Rescue operations around the state of NH, because that cause is very important to us and we’re glad to be able to contribute what we can toward all the volunteers’ heroic efforts.

Looking ahead, we plan to do more of the same kinds of events we participated in this past fall, be they things like Full Conditions and the Shoulder Season Shakedown or author events and such at our local library here in Lincoln, and other venues too, so please keep your eyes peeled for announcements as we roll those out. Beyond that, we’re just so happy to be here in this shop and to serve this community. Be sure to check the hours listed below - we update them every Sunday to reflect the week ahead, and we post them to our FB page and google also. Steve is still around the shop sometimes too and we’ll note when in those same locations as well. Again, we want to express our immense gratitude to everyone and we really look forward to seeing you all soon.
