Winner of the "Best in Recreation/Travel Category" in the 2009 Map Design Competition sponsored by the Cartography and Geographic Information Society (CaGIS). A great waterproof White Mountain trail map that is different from any other in the amazing amount of information it contains. It shows most of the WMNF on two sides (1:100,000 for the central and southern Whites, 1:62,500 for the Presidentials and Wild River area) with mileages on trail segments and 100-ft. contours. Shows all 4000-footers. It also has countless little tidbits on recommended hikes, geographic and historic tidbits, safety issues and much more. Also shows elevations at trailheads and trail junctions. This tour de force by cartographer Ed Rolfe is alot of fun to look at. Folded to 4" x 9."
